There is a special SCARF navigation tool to help you find lessons for specific subjects or issues, such as bullying, conflict resolution or bereavement. This can help manage unexpected events that might occur and upset or worry children.
Children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing is best developed through providing a planned, integrated PSHE education. SCARF fully supports this approach. However, sometimes things happen in a school or community - or in the wider world - which can unsettle and worry children. Because you are best placed to decide what to teach and when, to help you find the resources you need at the right time, all of the SCARF lessons are ‘tagged’ under a comprehensive list of subjects and issues.
This additional navigation tool, developed in response to requests from our SCARF subscribing schools, enables you to be flexible and responsive to your children’s needs.
