DAY 3 - ACHIEVEMENT

Each day this week we're thinking about one of the SCARF letters and what it means to us.

Today is Achievement day!

Give each child a copy of the letter A for Achievement and ask them to think about what being safe means to them.

Start with some key questions:

  1. What would you like to try to learn or get better at?
  2. What will you do to get better at something?
  3. How does it feel when you can do something that you’ve found hard to learn?

Share your scarf!

Display the A for Achievement posters for everyone to see.

There's a different letter each day for the children to share with others. By the end of the week, they will be sharing their whole SCARF!

Letter A is for Achievement - black version for children to decorate
Copy or print this A then draw and write your ideas about ACHIEVEMENT - things that you've learnt to do, things that you're still getting better at, your dreams and goals for the future!
