Assessment in PSHE Education

Workshop to develop strategies and confidence in assessing and evidencing PSHE education – including RSHE statutory requirements

Webinar overview

Many teachers tell us that they're unsure of the best way to assess and evidence progress in children's PSHE education, which includes statutory RSHE requirements and Ofsted's Personal Development judgement expectations.

This 75-minute webinar has been specially designed to:

  • Help you to understand how assessment contributes to effective PSHE
  • Clarify the key types of assessment and when they should be used
  • Understand how Ofsted look for evidence of assessment when making their Personal Development judgment
  • Explain how SCARF supports assessing PSHE in a way that isn't time-consuming or onerous
  • Provide an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and allay any anxieties.

How you take part

Online, using ZOOM.

This webinar is free to all primary schools including non-SCARF subscribing schools.

We'll be referring to SCARF resources during the course of the session, to provide examples of how providing evidence, but schools not using SCARF will be able to consider their own PSHE resources in relation to the key points.
