About Us

Each year Life Education Wessex and Thames Valley (LEW&TV) delivers workshops to around 75,000 children in 400 schools across Cornwall, Devon, Plymouth, Torbay, Dorset, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton, Portsmouth, Somerset, West Berkshire, Bracknell Forest, Reading, Wokingham, Windsor & Maidenhead, Slough, Oxfordshire, east Swindon, and Buckinghamshire.  A further 50,000+ pupils are reached with Standalone SCARF resources.

Wessex Educator Team

LEW&TV is a local Delivery Partner of Coram SCARF, the oldest children’s charity in the UK. We are an independent and self-supporting charity delivering physical health (including drug education), mental wellbeing and relationship workshops to primary school children in and around the South-West for 35 years.

The Wessex & Thames Valley educator team consists of ten educators: Julia, Caroline, Maria, Lucy, Michele, Sarah, Katie, Jane, Katrina and Emma-Louise.

Coram SCARF Resources

We offer the full range of Coram SCARF workshops, delivered by experienced educators, in your school. These interactive, age-appropriate sessions support children’s wellbeing and personal development, in line with the PSHE curriculum. Subject to Educator availability, schools can select from the following workshops:

  • Physical Health & Wellbeing (Nursery–Year 6)
  • Mental Wellbeing (Nursery–Year 6)
  • Relationships Education (Years 3–6)
  • Online Behaviours (Years 5 & 6)
  • SCARF Live Online (Nursery – Year 6)

Each workshop helps children build essential life skills to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

In person workshops are delivered in the school classroom, or in LifeSpace our inflatable classrooms – subject to availability and sufficient space.
